Baby Boy’s Nursery is Complete!

Updated: Apr 3

We are quickly approaching the arrival of our first baby and just put the finishing touches on the nursery! When it came to putting this room together just about everything expect the walls were removed and replaced. Nick pulled up the carpet, refinishing the original hardwood floors under, all window trim and baseboards were updated to match we have done on the main level and new vent covers were added.

While pregnant many people have asked me if I have a theme for the nursery and to which I really didn’t know how to respond and describe what I had envisioned in my head. In conversation I tell people that I was envisioning navy walls with colorful vintage accents and items throughout. I wanted this room to be a color that could grow over the years with baby boy and wasn’t as baby focused. I think we did just that. We shopped our home for a lot of the items and invested in some items that we knew would be reused for many years to come.

Links to items that I could find online. Everything not links was bought second hand.
