It's no lie that this week here in Iowa is giving us ALL the fall feeling with the cold weather. Leaves are starting to change color and local coffee shops are releasing their fall drink menu. I am tucked up in a blanket and taking this season of change the cool temps. This weekend I had a MAJOR itch/excitement to start decorating our home into the fall season with all the rich beautiful colors and dried grasses.
After creating my DIY Boho Door Wreath one of the most common questions I received was where I got the dried grasses and what ones I got. I got all mine at Hobby Lobby since it is close by but it did break my heart the lack of everything they had in stock this early into the fall season. I didn't even think about checking online for items since I wanted to get the project done and hung up but thought it would be helpful for all of you to have a list of some of the difference grasses and florals that I have used or would be perfect for decorating your home this fall!
Natural Pampus Plumes - This is not the really big and fully kind that I always see used on Instagram but you can find the larger fluffy ones here!
Wild Oats Bundle - Hobby Lobby only has the dark brown which would be a really fun moody color and have also bought it in a light cream color as well!
Stardust Mini Gypsophilia - I bought a bundle of this in the summer and loved having it around the house. An add + to buying this is that it can be used in multiple seasons! I will warn you ahead of it it is a little bit of a pain in the butt to pull apart and makes a pretty good mess.
Lagurus Bundle - I refer to these as "bunny tails". These come in long stems so would be great for a tall vase! For my wreath and around the home I cut quite a bit off the end of them.
Red & Yellow Tropical Repens Protea - When picking out flowers for our wedding last year these were one fo the first flowers that caught my eye! They are SOOO unique and eye-catching without talking away from the arrangement. We got SOOO many compliments on these. I added these into our mantel decor!
Mixed Willow Eucalyptus Bush: The last one to share with all of you are there pretty emerald colored eucalyptus. These were a big one in our wedding flowers as well. This year I have stuck to keep them in assorted glass bottles around our home!
